4.0

La posizione centrale. L'appartamento all'interno del quale era situata la stanza. Il palazzo. Accettano i cani.

"Vivere La Storia - in the center of Torino!"

10.0

This place is absolutely amazing: you live in a Palazzo! Going there is "Vivere la Storia" as you have for yourself, not only the studio you rent, but an amazing space, hundreds of square meters in surface (300? - 400?) having ceilings the at 5 meters, decorated with magnificent frescoes or original paintings. This incredible space is composed by: - at the entrance a "Chinese cabinet" with ancient mirrors and Ming dynasty porcelains all over the place, guarded by 2 marble columns at the entry (5m high, for sure!) and a splendid marble fire place. Frescoes all over the ceiling painted by the same artist that painted the Royal Palace nearby and also a Cristal chandelier which is amazing. - a living room which better be named the "Ball room" as it is huge, with golden silk on the walls, ceiling frescoes by the same painter of the Royal Palace, golden leaf cover all over the place, covering: the ceiling stucco, the sculpted part of the furniture, the bronze details of the monumental mirrors. The fire place is, per se, a masterpiece as it is the huge Cristal chandelier in the middle! This is the place where you are served breakfast, by the very kind and welcoming host and owner Lady Ana!!! She is amazing in her knowledge of Torino, its history, its architecture, painters and, for sure, also Cafes, best shopping places and restaurants... Better than any guide online! - the library, is the "room" that follows, and it is fantastic also. Full of art albums and, for sure the same splendid ancient decoration: silk on walls, cristal chandelier. - All the above is for you, as you stay into the studio that you rent! From the library you enter your studio, where the ceiling is the original one " a cassetone" from the "seicento" (approx 400 years ago!). I can only recommend!

So, even if the bathroom may seem small in comparison with all you already had, it have all the modern commodities, and even was decorated, wall and floor, in precious black marble! So if you feel that it is less than you would like, please think that those peoples that lived there in 1600's did not have tap water... To resume our perspective: we came here for "Vivere la Storia" and we acknowledged that this is a Palace from the 1600's. We had experienced, as described before, the greatness of those times in this magnificent place and, in our opinion, we must accept that the modern comfort was brought there paying the price of architectural constraints.
