Tudhoe Park House

There were a good number of small items of attention to detail both in the room in which we stayed as well as in the B&B itself which made our stay very enjoyable. The staff were also very attentive of our needs.

Beautiful property, the attention to detail the owners have put into the B&B is superb, spotless clean and welcoming.

Nothing to dislike, we will return in the future when visiting the area.

The breakfast was cooked well and was decent quality ingredients and with croissants and toast and fruit and yogurt there was plenty to set us up for the day. There was plenty of tea and coffee to make in our room. A lovely touch was the can of ipa and bottle of prosecco in our fridge and the daily plate of shortbread left in our room which is probably the best shortbread I've had, I forgot to ask if the host had made it or if it was bought in as it was excellent, oh and the pot of chocolates was a nice touch. Lovely posts and a beautiful property.

The only thing we found a little different was there not being a lock on our room door. There was nothing that we didn't like.

Every detail just right - delicious breakfast, lovely flowers, thoughtful hosts and extremely comfortable beds. Anita and Richard couldn’t have been more hospitable.

The property is ideally located for visiting Durham. Hosts made us very welcome and both the bedroom & bathroom had everything that you could wish for: comfortable bed & pillows, large shower with lovely fluffy towels. The room was exceptionally clean with very quiet surroundings. I particularly liked the homemade shortbread provided by the owners! Lots of choice for breakfast to set you up for the day.

Minor suggestion: would have been useful to have a mirror near the plug socket to dry my hair.

Lovely house and the room was comfortable and well furnished and decorated. It overlooked a large field. Breakfasts were great and Anita and Richard the hosts were friendly and could not do enough to help us. Anita kept us well stocked with home made shortbread and chocolate.

A charming place to stay! We felt very at home and our room and facilities were wonderful. Our hosts were helpful and knowledgable about the area. The bed was soooo comfortable! A perfect base for exploring Durham and the surrounding area. Would definitely return. A bonus was their adorable furry friend - it would have been nice to take her home!
