Lovely little place in the middle of nowhere. Lots of extra touches had been added to make this new place cosy even when it was cold outside. Excellent breakfast!

Due to the time of year it was pretty cold even with the wall heater cranked up. Need a heat source in the bathroom.

"Great relaxing location"

We loved every single aspect of this escape. The location is stuning with breath taking views across the river and mountains. The owners received us with a warm welcome and gave us useful information for our stay. The place is cozy and tastefully decorated. There is a hot tub available which made the experience even more romantic. We loved the delicious breakfast and all the attention to detail. I have already recommended this place to family and friends and will certainly come back.

A great place to stay just 5 mins walk from the gorge. The hosts were super friendly with lots of advice about where to visit and eat. Breakfast served in the room each morning was excellent. Would highly recommend to stay here if you are looking to be completely immersed in the Serre da Lousa.

"A little piece of heaven"

Catarina and her husband were amazing hosts - friendly and helpful. The resident cat was friendly and welcoming too. The accommodation was superb, as was the breakfast. The surroundings were beautiful. However, our stay was too short, for us to enjoy them 😭. In short, we loved it! We will definitely go back given the opportunity!
