Mancanza di accoglienza. La porta della stanza con vetro vecchio stile, adatta al max ad un appartamento privato, coperto con adesivo e non sufficiente a garantire la privacy (non tutte le stanze). Apertura stanza con la classica chiave da appartamento privato che potrebbe incidere negativamente sulla sicurezza personale. Colazione industriale (sarebbe meglio eliminarla e far risparmiare il cliente). Pulizia scarsa, la tenda che spazzava il pavimento alquanto impolverato e non brillava di freschezza. Puzza di zolfo dal bagno. Tavoli nell'ambiente comune non puliti. In generale è una struttura situata in un posto strategico dove basterebbe un po' di attenzione per farlo diventare un gioiellino.

Please, avoid this place if you want a peaceful stay in Matera. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. First of all, the listing says the room has “bathtub or shower.” This was simply not true in my case. There was no proper shower. There was only a handheld shower head with a broken support, which made it impossible to shower normally. After arriving exhausted from a very long trip around 5 PM, all I wanted was to take a shower and rest. I contacted the property immediately, and they continued insisting that “this is how it works,” saying that the room photos already showed that it was only a handheld shower and not a real shower. But the photo in the listing is cropped in a way that does not clearly show this at all. Honestly, if a room does not have a normal fixed shower and only has a handheld shower head, this should be clearly written in the description before booking. The worst part is that they only fixed the shower support almost at 10 PM, during the very little time I had to go out and have dinner. So clearly it WAS possible to repair it. One more important detail: the bed sheets were also dirty when we arrived, but everything was so messy that we did n t complain. Meanwhile, during my only night in Matera, I started receiving repeated calls and WhatsApp messages from different phone numbers accusing me of taking another guest’s keys during the self check-in. I repeatedly explained that I had taken only one key set exactly as instructed. Eventually they confirmed that the keys were there and that I had done nothing wrong. A professional property should verify the situation before repeatedly calling a guest’s personal phone late at night. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable. What is advertised as a double bed is actually two separate beds pushed together, leaving a gap in the middle. The “breakfast” was basically packaged toast and jam left inside the room.
