Mata Suite

The comfort of the bed was decent

Very poor communication, it started pouring, and we were completely drenched in the rain with our luggage while we waited for our host.. apparently, they were driving around looking for us after we clearly explained that we were on the way to a taxi service they were "trying" to provide. We booked the place with the water tub functionality, but we're told we didn't.. once the screenshot was forwarded to them, they started to bargain the price to include it in the price, which made no sense to us. Also, at night, we saw small creatures in the shower and by the door that were very creepy looking. Overall, I wouldn't stay again, poor communication and service.

Located in a renovated cave dwelling in Matera. An exotic accommodation in a very unique and fascinating city. Great hot tub. Spectacular views.

Small problems with a few minor details--corkscrew didn't work, coffee machine didn't get very hot, refrigerator took a while to get cool. But on the whole, a wonderful stay.

Beautiful suite. Very clean and an amazing view outside. The hot tub room was gorgeous. There are some restaurants directly below the suite and also close to amenities. There are a lot of stone steps in this area so wear comfortable shoes! Lisa, our host was very attentive and friendly in organising restaurant reservations for us, breakfast and re stocking with water and snacks in the room. We actually got engaged outside the suite. So have created beautiful memories at the Mata Suite. Grazie 💍💞

There was only one small wardrobe, would be great if there was more storage space. But this is fine if you are doing a short trip.

Mata was the best place I have ever stayed. The bed was very comfortable, the view out the front door was unbelievable. The tub was great, staff was very helpful and able to assist me with any issues I had.

There was nothing about the stay that I did not like
