Villa Marietta

Great hosts and delicious breakfast. The view is simply amazing, which is on the peaceful side of Amalfi Coast. There is a scheduled mini van which you can catch to reach the villa and back.

The property was located in a great small town that’s not too busy, and is easy to travel along the Amalfi coast. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful and made the stay very comfortable.

Location is superb with fantastic views down to the town on Minori and the coast. The host was welcoming and informative about padestrian access to the town. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Free parking was provided.

Access road is a long and very narrow one leading up from the town, with few passing places. Wifi in the property has a good signal strength but very low speed unsuitable for any video streaming. The shower & curtain very basic. The proprietor we found to be overly intrusive, constantly checking on us, even when I ventured out of the room in the evening to take some photos I was alarmed by his voice coming from an open window above! Also at breakfast we were the only guests and he sat with us the entire time - all very awkward, so much so that we avoided it on our last day by leaving early. The breakfast itself comprised a few pieces of fruit, some breads and small portions of homemade yogurt and jam (which I had to ask for). Coffee and milk poured at the table was fine for the first cup but seconds seemed to be a problem as he went off to get more milk from somewhere. We ate take-away pizza in the room the previous evening, which was met with a look of disgust and a lecture about ants from the garden, shortly followed by a lecture about separating glass bottles from cardboard waste as he brusquely scooped up the few items from outside our room..

The location was fab. Seeing the sunset over the town, with the sea and mountains, church bells. The apartment was at the start of the path of the lemons. Recommended for sure

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Marietta! Vincenzo and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating. Room is as pictured. Clean, comfortable bed and an amazing view. Highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful stay on the Amalfi coast with easy free parking on site!

Beautiful view, Minori wonderful town for home base. Vincenzo & Camila gracious host, providing daily breakfast and assistance when needed. lemon trail walkable to/ from town , parking included,

Villa Marietta was amazing. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, so welcoming, kind and energy’s sharing wine and home made limoncello- the extra care was just sublime. The local bus that costs 1euro every half an hour takes you down the hill to the main areas. Everything was brilliant, couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for such a beautiful stay.

Air con in rooms would make the experience even better. The addition of the floor fab was great.
