Very central cosy and we were made to feel special by John our host

Lovely property in the centre of Moffat. Had the upstairs to myself, which felt very private. Characterful and cosy. Room very comfortable, large and tasteful. Large and lovely bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee . The breakfast was in a lovely room, beautifully presented and was delicious: scrambled egg, parma ham, smoked salmon. The owner was so interesting. Incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. All this and value for money. It was a joy to stay.

Loved everything about Kirkview House, the location, the room, the friendly host who was so knowledgeable on the history of the area. Would definitely return.

The breakfast was very good and the location both interesting and convenient for a stay in Moffat. It was also warm and comfortable.

Nothing we didn't like. The stairs are a challenge but we knew that when we booked.

Beautiful rooms...tastefully decorated...bed really comfortable. Okay, there are 49 steps up to rooms, but good exercise!!! Lovely big bathroom with shampoos etc. John the host very friendly with lots of interesting stories. Breakfast was incredible The Walter Scot breakfast ! Scrambled eggs on sour dough...mushrooms smoked salmon and tomatoes.. toast and jam.. delicious!! Great value for money.. would highly recommend !!

Honestly there is nothing I can say I didn't like!!

Property had a lot of character in historic building. Room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Host was very interesting and looked after us well.

It's worth noting that the stairs to room are steep and winding.

Nice to have the whole top floor space

It was so lovely to see how a old building can be done up so nice . Lovely shower , and a good night’s sleep

The breakfast was excellant and John the host was a delight and a fountain of knowledge!!

Just a small point really, but had to be careful on the stairs as we are both 80 plus.
