Everything! The location, the facilities, the wonderful choice of breakfast foods including the well presented cooked breakfast. The bed was comfy and the cottage was in a lovely spot. Even a garden to stretch your legs in after a long journey. And it's only mile from Junction 15 on the M74.

The only thing missing was wifi, but that meant you could at least not spend the evening looking for something to watch on Netflix etc and relax instead!

I loved the enclosed garden - it was great for exercising my dog. It is a lovely comfortable room - spotlessly clean & with lots of lovely touches and the breakfast the next morning was huge and beautifully cooked Maureen was a great hostess - friendly and chatty

Such a lovely place to stay, comfortable, very well prepared and with lots of thoughtful touches including a cooked breakfast. Maureen was so welcoming. A 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Perfect!
