Beautiful and friendly

Clean and very nice house. Easy access by car. Nice staff and a 15 min walk from the archeological site in Pompei. Nice pool area.

Bardzo uprzejma właścicielka, zaakceptowała skrócenie pobytu w ostatniej chwili. Łóżka bardzo wygodne, pokój przestronny. Świetna lokalizacja.

Das Haus ist ca. 15 min. entfernt von den Ausgrabungen Pompeis. Es ist sehr gut zu erreichen, hat einen gesicherten privaten Parkplatz und es ist trotz Lage mitten in der Stadt sehr ordentlich, sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Auch der Pool ist schön . Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und man kann auf einem Balkon mit Blick zum Vesuv frühstücken.

Der Fußweg zu den Ausgrabungen oder in die Stadt ist nicht ungefährlich, da man auf großen Straßen laufen muss. Auch abends macht die Gegend einen etwas unheimlichen Eindruck.

Our perfect base for Pompei, Herculaneum, Naples and Vesuvio. The entire Villa has been completely renovated and restored to a high standard. Our room on the top floor was very spacious with a second bedroom for our 13 yr old daughter. The bathroom included a hydrotherapy shower. We even had a small balcony overlooking the quiet residential area. The floor below had a communal living room, fulled equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and balcony area with several tables. As there are only 3 rooms we generally had this area to ourselves. Breakfast was served around 07:30 and left out for us to help ourselves and eat out on the balcony. The owners were happy to make some changes to the breakfast menu. POOL AREA: small but well maintained swimming pool and adjacent patio area with 6 sun loungers. Again we had this to ourselves for an afternoon. Great recharge :-)

We had a few little issues, including air-conditioning controller batteries needed replacement, but these were fixed by our host who made arrangements for contacting her. LOCATION: We selected the Villa due to its proximity to the train station and main entrance to Pompei. As we arrived we noticed we were on a fairly steep hill with many streets a dead end. Google maps gave convoluted with surprisingly long walk times. HOWEVER, on exploring we discovered more direct pathways and that our walk times were usually at least 30% faster than those calculated. Here are some examples: POMPEI ENTRANCE & TRAIN STATION: 13mins RESTAURANT (Osteria Nonna Cherubina) 4mins SHOPPING MALL: 15mins LARGE SUPERMARKET: 17mins Note - the route to Pompei is a quiet rural road, but the mall and supermarket are through a fairly run down area with busy streets, although I did not feel it was unsafe. PS - wish I had taken more photos of Villa

Wir waren 5 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen sauberen Haus, mit einer liebenvollen Gastgeberin Antonella . Wir haben es sehr genossen, hatten den Balkon mit super Blick zum Vesuv :-) Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön, die Gemeinschaftsküche darf man mit allem Inventar den ganzen Tag nutzen, mit Snacks und Getränken. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, Bahnhöfe oder Eingang zu Pompeji, aber trotzdem eine sehr ruhige Ecke. Einen liebvollen traditionellen italienischen Supermarkt mit Bäcker und Metzger fussläufig erreichbar. Kleines gutes Frühstück war sehr gut. Gerne würden wir hier wieder übernachten wollen

Okay,.....unser Pool hatte im April kein Wasser drin :-) oh man....wurde gerade vorbereitet, wäre schön das gesehen zu haben. Kleinigkeit.....ja es fehlt in der Wohnung eine Garderobe Okay noch ein kleines Problem, die Zimmertüren sind teils aus Milchglas, durch die ständigen Bewegungsmeldern kann man Nachts Licht aus dem anderen Zimmer sehen
