THE place to stay. We had such a fantastic time here and would certainly recommend Vallay Sands. Hosts were wonderfully attentive, breakfast was delicious and plentiful- even enough to take away for lunch. Accommodation spacious and comfortable and the view amazing! This is a highly recommended B&B. We’ll be back.

Being upgraded to the room with the microwave made us realise the benefits of self catering. This is not a negative about the place at all.Travelers, just realize that restaurants are not available within walking distance... but a Supermarket is a short drive away.

"Wonderful stay in North Uist with great views"

We especially loved the infinite stretch of beach and sea. Even though the weather was not so good, we enjoyed walking on the nearby beach. The room awaited us comfy and warm after our excursions of the Uists, Benbecula and Eriskay. The rich continental breakfast was served in the room, which was also very confortable. Marion is a very nice host and we felt very welcome there. We would definitely go back.
