Vallay Sands

Set in a stunning location over looking the beach. The continental breakfast was more than adequate for two hungry guests; fruit salad Greek yogurt home made bread and a selection of meat and cheeses. An extensive choice of herbal teas were available along with coffee. Host was very welcoming and friendly.

The room was lovely and light and the bathroom was awesome . Breakfast was wonderful too.

Lovely large room with fab views. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Marion’s breakfasts were amazing with homemade bread and variety of fruit, yogurt, cheeses, meats, croissant and hot cross buns. Own entrance so could park car very close. What was very useful was a handy fridge and microwave……..and a very close Co-op. Thanks Marion for a great stay on stunning N.Uist.

Great wee place, beside beach and excellent service

The furnishing and finish of the room was exceptional. Breakfast was a work of art. Location and views were breath-taking, even in squally weather.

Fantastic location with a beach a short walk away and a co-op about 1.5 miles away. Super friendly and helpful host, thank you for a great stay.

Only disappointment was that the weather wasn’t better for my one night stay

Very friendly and welcoming host who made extra effort to prepare a vegan breakfast for us. The homemade bread is delicious. Breakfast is continental served to your bedroom door with a chair and table to eat from in the room. Bailey the dog is a star too, he barks but is very friendly and loves a stroke. Room has great views from roof window across the beach and sands. En suite shower room is excellent with modern fittings. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Easy to find the property and acres of space to park. Good TV with multiple channels. It’s a beautifully quiet area with just the playful bleating of lambs and bird song to hear.

The upstairs room has sloping ceilings and we bumped our heads quite a few times. If you’re tall then book the ground floor room which has more headspace 😊
