The room was very comfortable but a bit cramped.

We loved the easy access to walking paths and great pubs!

Breakfast was fine. THe location was beautiful .. although the steep roads took a couple of days to get to grips with. A lovely place to stay with very helpful and friendly hosts.

The accommodation consists of a comfortable, well set out bedroom and a clean and fairy spacious shower/toilet. It also has a little patio area outside, which looks very nice, however we visited during the winter months, so did not take advantage of this. It feels like a little home from home with it's relaxing design and colour schemes. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel at home immediately upon arrival. Access to the accommodation is good and the location is just 10 minutes walk from a local pub, The King's Head, which is a very cozy, village pub with fantastic food, a good variety of ales and welcoming, helpful staff.

This is not a fault of the accommodation, rather my lack of researching its location, especially condidering that we don't drive. It is located in a very picturesque, village area, that sits fairly high up a hillside, unfortunately the places we wished to visit during our stay, though close enough to walk to, were considerably further downhill, making access difficult on foot, though we still did manage to walk to them. This would not have been an issue if taxis were readily available, but unfortunately, without booking well in advance, our experience using the local taxis on the fly was not a good one. However booking a whole day in advance for the trip back into Stroud made a huge difference. None of this is a reflection on the accommodation itself, which is awesome and wholey recommended and if you are travelling by car, you will have none of our issues.
