B&BO la Frasca

We had the most wonderful stay at this apartment. We arrived out of hours (after 10.00pm) but Silvia's son Andrea came to greet us and help us settle in. The apartment was everything and more and totally exceeded our expectations. Travelling as a family of 5 we found the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The bathroom was fantastic, lots of space with an incredible shower. The apartment was cleaned every 2 days and fresh towels given; plus our ben linen was changed midweek. The apartment is within walking distance to the city centre and we enjoyed walking into town under the porticoes. There is also a bus stop just 2 mins walking distance away that takes you into the centre in 10 minutes. Our boys are football mad and there was a fabulous park a 5 minute walk (Giardino Lunetta Gamberini) away where they were able to burn off their energy before our sightseeing adventures and where we were able to get in a few morning runs. A park that catered for everyone! Thanks for everything Silvia & Andrea. Bologna is such a beautiful city, and we hope to be back!🥰😃

We stayed in the apartment for 5 - it is better than the photos : big rooms, nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, ACs and smart TVs in both rooms. Bathroom is huge and beautiful, plenty of towels. Kitchen is very well equipped, there is everything needed to set up a nice dinner; there is also a coffee machine with capsules, coffee was awesome, and a kettle with a big variety of tea. The welcome biscuits and water are a very nice touch ☺️ Host is very kind and helpful, communication was great. We highly recommend B&BO la Fresca. Thank you Silvia!

Perfect location for visiting Bologna. Great transport links to the centre and very welcoming staff. Recommended.

The host and her son are responsible. The check-in was smooth, we had to text before arrival and they were waiting for us. They shared all nice information about the area, where to park etc. The room was sparkling clean! I appreciated the Nespresso machine, kettle, and little cookies. Really nice touch! The bathroom is big and modern, the shower is great which is amazing after a long trip.

The building a a tiny loud so not ideal if you want to sleep a bit in the morning

Although a bit out of town it was very easy to get to by bus. Very clean. Shower has amazing water pressure and nice to have nespresso coffee machine and dressing gown.

Very good quality housing, made with love, feels more like a homestay than a hotel. Location was quiet and yet central enough, good parking in the street. Hosts were very very helpful!

The pillows.. too hard :)

First of all, we had problems with buses in Bologna from the airport, so we arrived late. But that was no problem for the owners. They still checked us and gave us much great advice about restaurants, and buses, and they gave us a little map of Bologna too, which we gladly used as an exploring tool for the best architectural sights and attractions around the city. The room was clean and cozy, with one large bed, but also one small bed nearby if you prefer your own sleeping space. There were small bottles of water ready, and also a coffee machine with capsules, and a couple of tea bags. Entrance to the apartment is by card, meaning that you can enter and leave whenever you want. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood (apart from the cicadas which haunt the whole city), and around 25 minutes walk from the city center, but you can take a bus too. Taking a bus is a shame though, the walks are so amazing. Overall it was an amazing experience, simply an amazing accommodation in an amazing city.

I did not enjoy the pillows that were in the apartment. I got used to them after one night, but my neck did hurt a bit. I haven't seen anyone else complaining though, so it's probably just my own bad experience. My partner slept well too. Another small flaw of the location, all bars nearby close very early (like 8 PM). If you want to have some night fun, you have to be in the city center. Also, you can hear the door and noise every time someone comes to another room in the apartment complex. These all are just minor flaws, again - the accommodation was amazing.
