La casa è situata nel centro storico di Bomarzo ed è in una posizione incantevole. La camera con bagno privato è spaziosa e il bagno ben strutturato

La colazione lascia a desiderare, sono tutti prodotti confezionati e di bassa qualità. La mia tazza era sporca di rossetto di una precedente cliente. In camera c’è un ventilatore, posso capire che non sia possibile mettere l’aria condizionata in un centro storico ma visto che le camere non sono proprio low budget magari potrebbero investire in un ventilatore più performante e meno rumoroso. Ho chiesto alla proprietaria un posto carino dove poter mangiare la sera e ci ha indicato L’etrusca Bistrot, francamente lo sconsiglio ha poca scelta e i prezzi di una grande città. In casa non c’è il Wi-Fi come scritto nella prenotazione ma c’è anche pochissima linea.

La struttura è molto accogliente e pulita, situata in un borgo fiabesco. Inoltre raggiungere la struttura è semplice in quanto c’è un ascensore che vi porta dal fondo del borgo fino alla cima

Nice house, beautiful location in the old center of Bomarzo. Well refurbished with taste. Fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, big and comfy beds.

1. No AC (it gets VERY hot in summer, we could not have a good sleep) 2. No wifi (in 2024? come on...) 3. No privacy – it is a SHARED accomodation, and the description on booking.com does not describe this aspect correctly. 4. The property is in Bomarzo’s old city (beautiful), which is a pedestrian only area. You park the car at Parcheggio dei Gelsetti, then walk uphill for about 300 m. To reach the main entrance, you have to climb a steep staircase with 19 steps. Inside the property, there is yet another steep and angled staircase with 17 steps to reach the main bedroom. Maybe it does not seem much, but if you have some luggage, this is pure suffering. And don’t even think about taking small children with cots or strollers... 5. Breakfast is at the bare minimum (a coffee maker and a few packed items left in the lounge). 6. Considering all of the above, this property is overpriced. For us, booking Il Grifo was a mistake. We saw a lot of other accomodations in and around Bomarzo to choose from.

Ottima posizione per visitare le vicine attrazioni. Struttura accogliente.
