Y Felin Bed and Breakfast and Smallholding

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Y Felin B&B. The owners are very nice. Andy was very helpful and friendly and provided us with some great insider tips. The area is amazing for walks and hiking, and you can reach all interesting locations in mid Wales by car within 60-90 minutes. We definitely recommend Y Felin B&B and will stay there again if we were to visit the area in the future.

Musky smell I assume from dog/cat. Bath towel were not soft but rough. Bed was of metal construction and would creak at the slightest movement. Bed frame was cold. Floor whilst original was not comfortable. Breakfast was a continental style not what we expected, this maybe a Booking.com description. You could also hear the host chatting as a door was the means of separation.

Really lovely room, bathroom and grounds. Very helpful owners.

The setting was beautiful, , lovely room, spacious bathroom. Room had everything we needed and more, lovely breakfast items aswell as biscuits , homemade cake. Hosts were brilliant.

The bedroom was very cold at times , although it was very cold outside anyway!

The location was beautiful and the hosts gave good instructions to find it. We were given a warm welcome and liked the homemade bara brith. The bathroom was large with a good shower.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the breakfast was very basic. Breakfast was very disappointing as although we knew it was continental, we were left cheap sliced bread, no choice of jam/marmalade and packet pain au chocolat. We could hear the hosts talking in the next room and found that quite uncomfortable.
