Lovely breakfast and dinner! Alessandro accommodated us so graciously! The food was delicious, particularly the eggs, the tarta caprese, and the sorbet. The spumante was really lovely as well. Breakfast is generally a choice of lovely home-made tarts, some charcuterie (like mortadella), cheese, honey and jams, yogurt, cereal, berries and roasted nuts. I don't eat wheat, so they very kindly and generously made me beautiful scrambled farm eggs! I was in heaven! Dinner is very reasonable, with the same à la carte menu every night-- your choice of starters, pasta, local meat, and dessert. He was able to adapt the menu to our vegetarian friends and use ingredients to make veg pasta dishes. Alessandro has lovely digestifs from the region and you can linger while you enjoy them and soak in the relaxing sounds of the night birds. You can eat inside our outside. It seems to be a popular dinner spot, not just for guests! The beds are queen size, so nice for two to sleep comfortably. The views are really gorgeous; you can spend a long time lingering in the lounge spots and taking in the panorama.

If you have your heart set on a pool, maybe just double check that you are within the specific dates for it. It seems that the pools are not open until later in May, which we weren't aware of (we had chosen it for the restaurant, view, and pool). I believe the price is adjusted to reflect that, but we were looking for a place with pool so we were a bit disappointed, especially since the weather was quite warm. I don't see it written anywhere on Booking, so that could probably be rectified so that people are aware that it depends on the season.

So beutiful place for relaxing and the owner was very helpful and caring. We arrived earlier than check in time and it was no problem. He also recommended us to a Great vineyard.

Super friendly greeting and very comfortable bed. The on site restaurant was excellent. Scenic location. Natural surroundings. Biker friendly with secure parking.

Water could heat up faster in the bathroom.
