Solsicily

I liked the size of the room, beautiful view from the window (rooftop in the distant sea view), great welcoming by Cristian and closeness to the city centre. There are a few food markets around the corner which are a big help as well as it’s very close to the main bus station.

The location itself is placed on a street surrounded by shady people, luckily they did not approach us during the stay, they are very loud during the evening time. Without prior research you might feel uncomfortable. Bugs found in the bathroom (millipede) as well as the bedroom (ants).

The place served its purpose well. We needed an affordable place to stay at overnight that is close to the center, beaches and airport. This met all of those requirements. The facilities and accomodation overall were good, basic necessities and appliances were provided. Cristian was also a really nice and welcoming/helpful host, looking out for us during our stay.

This was mentioned in other reviews but the streets indeed had some strange faces here and there but they’re all minding their own business and keeping to themselves, not trying to bother others, especially not tourists. Their situations are rather sad instead of scary.
