Dolce Maria

Paola, the host, was just wonderful! So kind and friendly. She checked us in even though we were early. The room was large and beautiful, spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water. Wonderful breakfast buffet with cornetti, cappuccinos, yogurt, home-made preserves, bread, meats and cheeses, and juice. Great location, just a short walk from the Piazzale di Mercati parking lot. Our first morning we needed to leave early, before the buffet opened at 8:30. Paola met us as we were leaving, and I explained why we wouldn't be able to have breakfast, but she asked us how much time we had, and then insisted on serving us some cappuccinos and cornetti and juice right then.

It was very warm during our stay--although there was an air-conditioner, we didn't have a remote to turn it on.

Authentieke B&B in het historisch centrum van Cortona. Grote mooie kamer. Het ontbijt was echt heel goed.

A Dolce Maria si fa un tuffo nel tempo..una dimora antica, estremamente raffinata e curata . Ottima posizione nel cuore di Cortona, a pochi minuti a piedi dalle piazze principali. Colazione eccezionale, con marmellate e torte preparate dalla proprietaria, che ti accoglie personalmente con grande cortesia e disponibilità.
