"Perfect spot - just not for light sleepers"

Catherine was a fabulously sweet hostess, the room was wonderful - great shower (water pressure and loads of hot water) - very comfy bed - extremely clean and great wifi! There was nothing they could improve on.

Unfortunately the location was maybe too close to town, and as such the street doggos kept us up all night alongside the cars racing around late into the night - it may also have been that it was a Saturday night that we stayed over as well. The wifi was great though and we did try to drown it out with some white noise on youtube and were able to get about 3hrs of sleep. Maybe better for those who are deep sleepers - but again out of the host's control entirely.

"Friendly welcome"

A friendly welcome , clean room and nice kitchenette and shower. For one night stop over it was good and a very comfortable bed.

The room looked straight into the road and the only seating area for the room was on the veranda also looking into the road. Pictures showed a garden and pool. I assume this is at the back of the property. Kitchette would benefit from a light nearby. Some fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee would be nice. After a long day's drive and rigmarole at home affairs, I didn't want to go out and look for a shop.

The room was nice and modern

The aircon didn't work so no heating and the portable heater didn't fit into any of the power points so no heating at all

We made a nonrefundable booking while we were traveling from Hluhluwe to the Western Cape. We trusted all the positive reviews, but on arrival, we saw the guesthouse is in a very unsafe neighborhood, right next to the industrial area. I informed the owner we won't be sleeping there because we didn't feel safe. They didn't bother to read or respond to my message until we said we would be writing a review. We were fortunate to find a different guesthouse. Another group of guests also paid to stay at Majestic and decided to look for another guesthouse. Do not trust the positive reviews. We definitely do not recommend staying at Majestic.
