Belas House With Terrace

Lovely host and beautiful views!

The place is clean located in a quiet area. The owner Bela is really friendly.

We are really sorry not to give a higher score (while Bela is really so nice and ready to help,) but the faclities are not in their best conditions. The shower is not fully functional and we can use it only in one way not the other. There is a very strong smell in the bathroom. Although Bela immediately took care of it upon our report, the 2nd day the smell came back (we did not bother Bela again as it was not so strong the 2nd day). We are told that it should be related with the sewage of the city, something one can do nothing, but to be frank, we did not find the same problem when going to the toilets of some restaurants in Kutaisi... And as it is an old house, there is some modern convenience missing, such as a bedside table or reading light... Also, the cute carpet can be slippery.

Clean spacious room. Fancy furniture-like in the pictures. Nice terrace with a little “kitchen”. Communication mainly through the app. City center is about 15-20 minutes by foot.

Shower needs a curtain. A little shelf would be helpful too. Bed is very big but mattress is worn and uncomfortable.

Small room, but very cozy, perfect for one person. And such a lovely host! Bela is so friendly and helpful, I decided to prolong my stay. The mountain view from the big terrace is just lovely. Everything was very clean. Near the center, but still quiet. Definitely recommended!

The host is very sweet, but it is a bit difficult to communicate with her in English (good idea to download google translate on the phone). She was very helpful though and made us breakfast to go, arranged a taxi to pick us up in the middle of the night and offered us to try her homemade jam. Don’t book the place for the pool, as it didn’t look ready to use, but if you want a place near the center of Kutaisi, the location is perfect (even though the taxi drivers had a little hard time finding it).The shower was nice and warm, the bed is huge and the rooms has aircondition.

Had a pleasant one night stay at Bela’s house. Would be happy to come again. Recommended

I would have preferred to have breakfast offered, but it was no option.

The location, it is close to the city and some touristic sites. It has an amazing view, you can hear the nature and birds.
