Kancamagus Swift River Inn

The owners were kind and helpful. The room was clean and big. Great location, we love our stay.

Breakfast was fine. Location in Fall was excellent

Swiss chalet look, nice owners. Very helpful with maps and area knowledge and things to do. They build this Inn.

Very dated.

Lovely couple Janet and Joe are wonderful, they gave us great recommendations in the area and were so welcoming and made us feel right at home there. They were very accommodating and kind. Location is great: the campground across the road belongs to them and you can get a private visit to the Swift River - it was very peaceful and beautiful.

Joe, the innkeeper, was very helpful and informative. He helped with the local insights of the area. The inn is cozy and well maintained.

I enjoyed the hotel's location within the White Mountain National forest, surrounded by trees. The folksy proprietors are an elderly couple who are extremely attentive and willing to help with driving directions, etc... They are constantly present and asking if you need anything. I enjoyed the homey feel of the hotel, which was more B&B than industrial hotel. It was extremely clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was a nice spread including high quality fresh fruit and real eggs. The owner's dinner suggestion (Almost There Restaurant) was close by and delicious, and we also got friendly service.

I don't really have any complaints, but I would have been thrilled if they had a fire pit for cold nights.
