Era meglio una panchina in un giardino

Das ein sehr später Check-in möglich war. Entgegen der Beschreibung des EZ war ein eigenes Bad vorhanden.

Nur mit großen Schwierigkeiten und mehrmaligem Kontakt mit booking konnte die Vermieterin von booking erreicht werden. Zugang zum Zimmer über extrem enge Wendeltreppe, die zudem noch mit verschiedenen Dingen zugestellt war. Im Zimmer waren Gegenstände abgestellt, z.B. ein alter PC-Bildschirm ältester Bauart. Extrem warmes Zimmer im Bereich des Dachbodens. Tor zum Grundstück war nur mit roher Gewalt zu öffnen. Schwierige Kommunikation, da Vermieterin ausschließlich italienisch spricht.

The house is an old "grand house" with high ceilings. Rooms are on the first floor using a separate entry at the side of the house. The rooms are simple but well equipped (no fridge). Parking on the premises means you will have to enter through a narrow gate, so wider cars will have to find a spot on the street. Loved the restaurant the owner advised for dinner.

The bathroom was not adjacent to the room. While I didn't mind crossing the hallway to get to the bathroom, this might be something others will want to know before booking.

I made a very late unexpected booking and they waited for me until 1am almost. The owner didn't speak well english but the sons did and were very friendly.

Check in was at 18.00 which was pretty late, without a chance to leave at least your luggage

Owner did not send instruction how to check in despite I asked about them right after I booked: 6 p.m. At 10 p.m. I was informed that there is no chance to stay at there bcos is already late! Owner did not return payment and booking did not help either

Arena Alfieri B&B is the perfect place in Livorno to spend time with yourself or with your loved ones 😉💕 Soon as you enter the door you will be greeted by the kindness of Gulia and her two companions, Gregory and the cute daschhund ! The house is spacious and well furnished. In there you'll find everything you need to spend the night or the weekend to enjoy the city of Livorno. Located close to the centre, it is easy to reach most of the destinations in just a few minute walk. Like bars and restaurants, and public transportation to move around and enjoy the beauty that the city have to offer ❤️
