Belton Bed and Breakfast

I like the concept of the barnyard and bethroon .

I didn’t like the area around the bedroom they aren’t organized and clean.

I booked a suite, received a confirmation email with arrival instructions, and showed up to find another guest in my room who told me that she just decided to stay an extra day and I was moving rooms. The owner never contacted me in any manner or answered my calls. But a tenant of an apartment in the house showed me to a random bedroom in the owner's private residence. I had paid for a suite and ended up in a bedroom. The bedroom was someone's actual bedroom - there were clothes in the closet, makeup on the vanity, and medications in the bathroom. It was definitely not a place for a customer to stay. The bathroom did not have a shower. The fridge did not work. All of the beautiful pictures of the inside of the house is someone's private family home not a lobby or common space for a bed and breakfast.

No one to welcome us. No written or verbal instructions as to where the room was. No thermostat to regulate temperature in the room. It was cold and raining outside and room was cold. We did not spend the night, we were there for one hour.

Nothing.

Comfortable, roomy, extremely clean, nice kitchen and sitting area.....felt like our own little world. Outside entrance on porch. Very pretty, welcoming look. All wonderfully decorated inside. Pretty old house with a big porch to enjoy and a cute barn cat to greet you.

Minimal contact with hosts. Everything, including how to access the room was via text. No reception area. Breakfast was hand delivered in a Styrofoam container...adequate but nothing more...minimal, if any, choices....coffee maker in room, but no coffee supplied. If you forget to text them the night before to say yes, then: " no breakfast for you!" As said, our little apartment was great...we loved it... but the house pictures are deceptive. You will never get to see the pretty dining room or curved staircase. All closed to guests...family use only. I get it, but unexpected and disappointing with none of the usual B & B friendly intermingling
