Received an email from the owner, enquiring if I had an approx. Time I was arriving, if possible. Lovely welcome at B&B by owner, felt very comfortable and relaxed The room was clean, large enough for a single person, and co ordinated . Everything explained. I walked to local shops to buy a small Chinese meal and then retired to bed. Slept solidly for 10 hours as the bed was EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable!! Breakfast was perfect to start the morning...tea, toast cereal and fruit. Check out was easy and my whole experience of my stay was exceptional. If I could give 12 out of 10...I would!!! Room was lovely and homely,everything you needed .

Was easy to find the place & walking distance pubs ,restaurants for food in evening. Not far from M27, to Southampton. The rooms are comfortable full with tea,coffee & biscuits . I love the table & chairs outside, so sit there and watch birds. The breakfast room is full of continuous breakfast. It's really nice & Just help yourself. Prices for the rooms are reasonable. Jean, welcome us & took to our room. Jean is a lovely lady, and nothing too much trouble. We recommend the place .

If walking to town be careful crossing road.

Lovely unique setting. Very welcoming host who was kind enough to share details of the history of the place. Comfortable beds. French style approach to the breakfast which is self service from a separate cabin.

Busy road outside which didn't feel safe for pedestrians at all. This isn't anything to do with the accommodation itself but exploring the local village wasn't as simple as we'd hoped.
