"A very good place to spend a few nights and explore the pretty county of Rutland."

Peaceful, well-appointed self-catering studio. Comfortable bed, good quality breakfast items. Friendly owner. Ideal base for exploring the area.

No recycling bins - all rubbish was to be put in one bin, so we took ours away. Steep stairs to approach the studio might be difficult for some.

Ein ruhig gelegener schöner Landbesitz. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es verfügt über einen separaten Eingang. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von einer freundlichen Gastgeberin herzlich willkommen geheißen. Ein ansprechendes kontinentales Frühstück stand schon für den nächsten Tag im Apartment bereit.

Superb location for our visit to Tolethorpe. Beautifully presented, all facilities, tasty breakfast, glorious views over open countryside with an outdoor seat to enjoy. Excellent food at the nearby Six Bells. Great communications with our host. Many thanks… we hope to stay with you again !

Absolutely beautiful place, the owners were lovely and welcoming. Bed and facilities were comfortable and clean Would highly recommend

the wifi was a little intermittent but it was a joy to be off grid

"A great place to stop"

Such well designed accommodation with every comfort considered. We were welcomed warmly and a table secured at The Six Bells, a lovely place to eat nearby. The delicious breakfast was laud out ready for us to take at our leisure. A lovely place to stay with a charming host and lovely country views.
