Excellent host, room was spotlessly clean and large with kitchenette, view was fantastic, breakfast in continental style had plenty of choice

There was nothing to improve

Quietness. Parking outside. Cleanliness. Good Breakfast ready laid out on a tray in advance

The website, if I recall, never mentioned that one had to ascend a staircase to reach the apartment. This wasn't an issue for me. However disabled people should be warned.

Good location for us to stop over on the way home from Scotland. Lovely friendly host. Easy parking and access to accommodation. Annexe was great, very comfortable, including the bed. Very good facilities including kitchen area with toaster, microwave, etc. and sink for washing up. The continental breakfast was fantastic - milk, butter, croissants, toast with preserves, choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit juice , fresh fruit - I might have forgotten something! Would definitely recommend. Only to note, as per photos, there are sloping ceilings. We are both quite short so was fine, although I did knock into one of the slopes once, but would definitely stay again!

Nothing we didn't like. If we'd stayed longer we would have asked for the heating to be turned down. We just opened the windows, but then it's individual choice and better to be warm than cold!
