"Small and compact"

Small and compact, all that was needed for a one night stay. Excellent shower Communal fridge available

Noisy party somewhere nearby meant had to sleep with ear plugs for most of the night

The manager was very accommodating. He let me in early so I can walk my via Francigena pilgrimage before it got too hot.

The aircon struggled to work in the heat. An electric fan would have worked better. Nevertheless, I slept well having walked 20 km that day in the heat.

Good location.

Unfortunately my room (No.104) smelled like an ash tray. The smell of cigarettes was through the curtains, bed linen and towels etc. I advised the host immediately and she was apologetic, but unable to offer me another room. I did try to find alternate accomodation but there was nothing available, so running the air conditioner and opening the window was the only option, and of course that meant mosquitoes entered the room.
