Optimum Residencies

We stayed 3 times and the owners are always friendly.

The hotel is already very tired, and its price now doesn't match the quality and standard; the cost of accommodation is significantly inflated. It used to be cheaper, and some of the nuances could be overlooked due to the low price.

Ruime, eenvoudige kamers met twee prachtige zwembaden en een heerlijk ontbijt. We werden bij aankomst om 3u s ochtends hartelijk ontvangen en opgehaald vanaf het vliegveld. Heel vriendelijk personeel was überhaupt ontzettend behulpzaam, bijvoorbeeld ook met het ophalen van onze tuktuk. Op onze laatste dag waren we ook welkom om nog even te komen zwemmen. Aanrader!

Trap naar de kamers ligt wat verstopt door het zwembad met glijbaan.Vloer voor de kamer was soms nat, mogelijk doordat de kamer vlakbij de glijbaan lag.

Some rooms are bigger than others. The smaller ones are ok but not much space for bags and to pass the beds

Wat een heerlijk hotel, zeker om te verblijven na aankomst of voor vertrek, maar ook in het algemeen. De zwembaden zijn geweldig en het eten is lekker en heel betaalbaar.

The staff were very kind and they went out of their way to be helpful. The room, while basic, was good-sized and was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The two meals we ate in the restaurant were very good and were priced fairly. On the whole, we felt the property was a very good value and we will stay again in the future.

There was only one electric outlet in the room which made charging multiple devices inconvenient.

The staff was outstanding and was very quick to respond and to assist. The room itself was large in size and was very clean and comfortable with air conditioning that performed well in spite of the high heat and humidity. We ate one meal that was very good and was fairly priced. We stayed only one night arriving on a Thursday and flying out very early the next morning but transportation both to and from the facility to the airport was provided at no additional cost - a tangible bonus that made our stay even more pleasurable. We also stayed here one night last week and we were happy with both stays. Were we to ever return to this part of Sri Lanka, we would certainly return to Optimum Residencies.
