"Nice experience with lovely Cetara, a beautful small town at the Amalfi coast."

10.0

It was modern, comfortable and has a nice terrace. Walking distance of the town and beach.

You cannot park at the property but the host offers a very good service for a parking nearby with shuttle to bring you there.

"A little gem"

9.0

The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Very modern. The bathroom was amazing, with a 4-star hotel style and cleanliness easily. Roof terrace, wow! We absolutely loved it. A beautiful room, in a beautiful place. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. My new husband especially loved the coffee machine in the room. All in all, it's a fantastic stay. The first stop on our honeymoon, and we loved it. The host was brilliant, and communication was quick and easy. If you stay, do consider the secure carpark. Our hire car was kept very safely, and there are shuttles available to and from there for 2 euros per person.

The stairs. They obviously can't be changed, and we managed. But, we are two fit, healthy, relatively young people. Just a warning to anyone with mobility difficulties.

Very nicely decorated and the host was very attentive!

The walls are very thin and you can hear everyone talking in the other apartments & wild dogs barking throughout the night.

Great place, perfect view from terrace. Host provide us parking spot in garage (20€/day), there is parking at the seaside and cost 3-4€/hour (depends on season).

Maybe stairs, because we were with child 3yo and those are really steep. But overall it is really good facility.

Only one thing. The wall is so tin that I could hear how people are sneezing or snoring in the next apartment. This is really big disadvantage because I could barely sleep the last night.

"The steep stairs and the cost of parking should have been mentioned"

5.0

The room itself was good clean and comfy.

The b&b had many extremely steep stairs making it difficult and unsafe to carry suitcases to your room also the front door opens to a main street Breakfast was at a nearby bar(staff there not pleasant at all) The parking was quite expensive I think the b&b was over priced

"A lovely, underrated apartment in Cetara!"

10.0

We had a lovely stay at Domus San Pietro. The room had been recently decorated, so looked different to the pictures and was a lovely surprise. Spacious with ample storage, a big bathroom and a roof terrace with loungers and patio furniture, there really isn’t anything negative to say about the property for the money. Especially now it’s pristine and newly decorated. We even spent a day just on the roof terrace, walking down to the beach to swim and coming back! So nice! The breakfast was fine, with a ticket granting you a choice of pastry and coffee from a nearby cafe. Our host also offered a set menu deal price at a local restaurant, which was very good. Offering starter main pudding and digestif for 25-30 euro including cover charge. We visited the beach, which although was very busy with locals for ferragosto, was still nice to have so nearby, at just a 5min walk from the property. There is another beach around the corner, but we didn’t go there this time. There’s lots of shops, gelato, pastry shops and greengrocers, but like most of Italy to us Brit’s they have funny opening hours so often had to remember to buy/visit in advance. Lots of people commented about the stairs and access to the property. They are steep, but I think some of the comments are somewhat unjustified and silly. Yes there’s stairs, yes they’re steeper than normal, but it’s hardly an issue. And if you’ve come to the amalfi coast not expecting to have to go up some steep steps, you’ve come to the wrong place!

I really enjoy my seafood, but my wife doesn’t as much. All but maybe 1 or 2 restaurants, serve only tuna and anchovy dishes exclusively. Which is great if that’s what you enjoy, but there is very little choice otherwise for those that don’t. Even for me, come the third evening, I was looking for menu that read a little different. Breakfast was fine, but both times we visited most of the menu was sold out, so choice was very limited. Lastly, I would say out of all the towns we’ve stayed in along the Amalfi coast, the locals here were definitely the most dismissive of tourists. It almost felt that a few shop keepers were even almost aggravated that we weren’t Italian. We enjoyed the feeling that this was more of a locals town and much less touristy, but as a result I don’t know if we felt particularly welcomed by the locals. The beach was also very crowded, but that comes with being at a beach town on ferragusto.
