The room and location were excellent

There was confusion at arrival No one to meet us and no messages prior Luckily other guests let us in our room Breakfast supplies were disappointing and again no communication.

The property suited our needs for three nights. It was within waking distance to everything we needed. The hostess was helpful and kind. The property was immaculately clean and air conditioning was great!

The only problem was that the room we had was literally only the main street. It was noisy at night with motorcycles racing up and down the main street. Not much you can do to solve the problem. We also did not care for the pre packaged breakfast. We walked a nice 5 minute walk through town to a local bar for a caffe and amazing brioche. It was not a problem for us but maybe FYI for someone else.

Cetara is a great little village to get away from the craziness that is the rest of Amalfi Coast, but close enough to get to all the sites and towns when you want to, and Casa Galano is a good place to stay in Cetara. It is situated above the Piazza where we could watch the goings on from the balcony each morning, and easy to get down into the town itself, with access to local shops and restaurants only minutes away. The main coast road bus stop was a minute away, with the major towns on the Coast about 30-45 minutes away. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

A bit of a walk up the hill to get to the apartment from the port, but if you come in by bus, it's a minute away from the stop.

The only problem was learning to get around the traffic, once you understand the rules by watching the locals all was good.

Awesome location! Cetara is so beautiful we are so happy we stayed here as opposed to another busier town on the Amalfi Coast. The host was helpful and the room was super super clean. Ot was great to have the daily cleaning which we didn’t expect! And we had a beautiful balcony we used every day! Important to note that when you chose the room you want it will show pics of whether it has a balcony or not.

Other guests took part of our breakfast before we got to it one of the days. And they also took the communal bottle opener into their room and then went out. Not the fault of the host at all but just be aware that you are sharing kitchen facilities with others! We didn’t report the breakfast stealing as it wasn’t a big deal but the host then put the breakfast in each room instead of in the communal space so they must have known and responded appropriately which is great!
