Everything was excellent. Just bear in mind there is no grocery store nearby.

Beautifully restored traditional house, wonderful landscaped garden with a variety of beautiful trees, very nice swimming pool and a lovely host.

I would prefer a shower screen rather than curtain in the bathtub.

Stancija Ruseti is a beautiful place in the heart of Istria. A place to get away from the city bustle and relax on a beautiful property while you are surrounded by lavender and wake up to the chirping of birds. Host Vesna will enrich that atmosphere with her attention to guests and home-prepared breakfast.

Our stay was amazing and so, so comfortable. Everything from the delicious breakfast (I'm still dreaming of the delicious, homemade, not overly sweet breakfast cakes that we offered alongside the fabulous breakfast!) to the comfortable king size bed (I'm super picky about beds). This was a great spot for day trips to all the hill towns and perfect home base. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to visit and restaurant. The pool looked lovely, but alas, a storm arrived the same day we did so it was much too cold for us to swim - though we could of had we wanted to. I highly recommend Rooms Stancija Ruseti to anyone visiting the area and will definitely come back if we find ourselves in that part of the world again!

Stancija is a wonderful property off the beaten tracks and away from the crowds at the coast. It provides calmness and serenity for any visitor wanting to tour Istrien from a nice base. The garden and pool area are a wonderful retreat after a day on the road. The rooms are neat and clean and have all the amenities needed. The estate manager is super welcoming and friendly. She provided a daily amazing breakfast with fresh products from the garden. She was also available to assist with any advice on what to visit. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

The pillows are a bit hard and may cause discomfort for some at night. The property only provides limited catering so you need to make sure to plan your own provisions for the afternoon and evening.
