The shower and the bed were nice and big. From the outside the building looked interesting and historic.

The overall experience was very disappointing. The pictures are not accurate. The pictures and descriptions look and read as a modern lovely place internally with separate dining area but in reality the hotel is split over 2 floors (2nd and 3rd floor of the building) and all areas need work, the internal of the building is beyond tired needing paint touch ups and repairs to floors etc. The dining area is also disappointing, it looks and feels like a make shift area with tables added, it is not a dedicated bar or café area. This hotel may be okay for a night to visit Pompeii but do not expect anything up market or more than 2 stars. The parking in the Villa courtyard is €10 a day, alternatively the parking across the road is free but there is a sign stating that this is for another area so Villa Battista are piggy bagging off another Villa's parking, it just feels cheap. Its all the small things that are over looked that just make the stay even more disappointing. It is stated that the staff speak English, Italian and French and again this is not accurate. The staff barely speak any english and it is very difficult to communicate.

Πάρα πολύ καλό το πρωινό. Η τοποθεσία ήταν τέλεια. 20 λεπτά από τη Νάπολη και 1 ώρα από Sorrento, Positano και Amalfi, οπού σε αυτά τα 3 μέρη το κόστος διαμονής είναι πολύ υψηλό ιδίως τον Αύγουστο μήνα.

Nous étions à côté de la cuisine le matin

Nice accomodation, friendly people, excellent cappucino & bakery. Wonderful sight from the breakfast terrace to the sea and Vesuv. The location is perfect to explore Naples and the archaeological sites of Herculaneum and Pompeii.
