Rooms were clean and tidy

No ensuite, steep stairwell, no parking, toilets with no light and bathroom light switch so high up, venetian blinds untidy

Mostly quite clean, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Room was clean except for the blind slats.

The blind slats needed dusting badly! Visitors should note it is not en suit. However, the shared facilities were clean. The continental breakfast was very basic. Help yourself to what there was, but choices were limited.

Location was good nice telly and a much appreciated fan in the room. Comfy bed.

Stairs were very steep. Shared bathroom was on the ground floor and served all four rooms. Could reach the pull cord to turn on the light, cord is cut very short. Bathroom is also only accessible from the kitchen. Breakfast is very basic and totally self service. Can’t comment on the staff as I met none at the property and my room was not serviced after the first night. The booking listing appears to have every box ticked. For instance towels and linen are both bring your own and supplied. It is definitely more of an air b & b than a conventional bed and breakfast.

Our room was good the only thing is that there was a lot of furniture so my partner kept bashing his leg on the edge of the bed frame apart from that it was very nice

With window blinds broken, could do with replacing blinds or ading curtains

I made a last-minute booking for a guest just a few hours before check-in. Upon arrival, the guest found that the condition of the room did not meet expectations (too many rooms share one toilet) and left immediately WITHOUT using any of the facilities. The room remained untouched and breakfast was not consumed. I contacted the owner to request a partial refund, given the minimal time the booking held the room and no use of services. The owner refused and insisted on charging the full amount. I find this policy unreasonable and disappointing, especially considering the circumstances.
