The decor, the hosts and a great breakfast.

It was not as described. The suite with private bathroom and lounge is not a self contained suite. There are two rooms on the first floor, they share a bathroom and wc across a hall, they are not air conditioned and there is no garden terrace all as described. The sitting room is downstairs. The rooms lack bedside lights and the shared wc has no lock. There are no robe hooks on the back of the bedroom doors.

Friendly owners in the morning when she made us a home cooked breakfast and told us places to visit

The owner was not very friendly initially and she said she didn’t take late bookings even though our £ had been taken. We also expected a suite which would imply there would be an en-suite but had a bathroom & toilet across the landing. We don’t think it was the room that we had booked ?

Stunning property run by a really lovely couple who made us feel at home and accommodated our late checkin. Cant reccomend this place enough for a quiet comfortable sleep in a gorgeous home.

The warmth and generosity of reception This is a seriously stylish property. The architecture and decor show real aplomb and Murray showed us his ASTONISHING cabinet carpentry. My goodnes: add on Catherine's breakfast, and the warmth of this couple. Easily the best place visited in the last couple of years.
