Branxholme Castle (Bed & Breakfast)

Branxholme castle was a beautiful B&B,stunning building and grounds. The room was lovely and spacious with a great size comfortable bed and pillows.Lovely great size walk-in shower.A couch in the room to sit and watch the television, a large table and chairs were you can have your breakfast delivered by the lovely friendly host Carol or you can choose to have your breakfast in a lovely lounge room which we did ..looking out on the grounds ,watching squirels .The breakfast was delicious ,so much to choose from ..yogurt and fresh fruit to a cooked full english ..kept us going all day ! Carol was so welcoming and friendly ,lovely to talk to ,offered to take us into Hawick as we had a meal booked but getting a taxi was no problem. We are so looking forward to returning for another stay .😁

It’s had so much character, it was in a quiet and beautiful area and the couple who run it were super friendly

The only issue we had was working the shower, as it didn’t seem straight forward, but we got it to work eventually

The castle and grounds were beautiful, there was a little confusion over our check-in but other than that it was perfect, Carol is a lovely host, will definitely return.

The breakfast was incredible. Carol the owner was just wonderful. The room was absolutely fabulous, and the location and grounds are beautiful. If you’re wondering whether to book a stay here, do it immediately!

Beautiful historic property in a peaceful location. Room was spacious and well appointed and we also had access to a lovely sitting/dining room where we chose to enjoy our delicious breakfast. Host was very friendly with helpful recommendations of things to do in the area.

It was such a comfortable and relaxing stay. Rob & Carol were amazing. So hospitable, kind and caring. We’ll definitely be back in future and would highly recommend for a wee getaway!

Great breakfast served in style in the room, with good choices from full English to meat and cheese, pastries, fruit all of which we had a chance to try and all were good. Location was also very quiet with a nice view.
