Branxholme Castle (Bed & Breakfast)

The beautiful standalone bathtub didn't appear to be plumbed in which was very disappointing as it looks very inviting.

Beautiful setting of the castle. Lovely host. Excellent breakfast served in the room.

All lights can only been turned off together and not from the bed so you have to walk back to the bed in the dark. The opening mechanism of one of the windows was defect and the window couldn't be opened. Not something you'd expect in a luxurious room.

Room was fantastic very comfortable had the bonus of Carol giving us breakfast in our room which was really nice loads of choice even gave us a lift into town when we struggled to get a taxi would definitely recommend this hotel

Nothing everything was great

The breakfast was of excellent quality cooked to perfection and the fruit was delicious. We found Carol and family friendly and professional.

The stairway, challenging but manageable for us.

Stayed for a wedding nearby. The room (queen) was fabulous room and far exceeded expectations. Breakfast selection was above and beyond as was the hospitality from the host. Thank you for looking after us so well.
