The people of the Homestay are so nice! They invited us to a diner with their friends, and in general they helped us so much!

Location and cheap

A/c did not work

Great location: you can walk to the old town area in 5 minutes. Helpful staff: they can arrange day tours and bus tickets with reasonable prices.

I extended my stay because I liked this nice homestay. Quiet, clean, spacious room. The owners are very helpful and organised a scooter for me for a day tour and for the one-way tour to Hue. Great service and everything worked out great. Thank you very much. Also for the fruits. I enjoyed them on the beach. Many thanks.

Good location, very comfortable beds

It was very badly organized. When i arrived, they tried making someone else change from a dorm to a private room so I'd have his bed in the dorm. When he said he couldn't afford it and didn't want to pay extra after booking a dorm, i offered to take the private room for $6 so he could stay in his dorm bed. After a few hours of being in the private room, i was told to change rooms again and was sent to a 5 bed dorm that was completely empty at that point, so i doubt it was full when i checked in. It all worked out in the end but it was a very chaotic process to get to my final room. Also, there is one key for each dorm room, you're supposed to lock the door and leave the key at the reception when you're the last one leaving so the first one coming back can pick it up again. However, one time when i returned, a roommate who was inside had locked the door from the inside and didn't react to me knocking the door at first, so i was locked out. It got sorted out very fast (he ended up opening the door again while i was on the way to get staff to help), but this shows that the one key system for dorm rooms is probably not the best idea and can lead to chaotic situations.

Location was good, about 5 minutes from the old town.

Staff are friendly but speak very limited English. When I arrived after a night bus at 6 am, the gate was locked and I could not get in (even though booking.com states 24 hour reception). Eventually after a few calls I was let in and was able to leave my luggage behind. Bathroom was not great as it flooded every time someone showered. Beds are pushed together in the room, because there is not a lot of space.
