Sometimes the water would turn cold all of a sudden and then it would go back to warm.

It was cheap.

There was a shared kitchen but it was not usable. No pots, no pans, no forks.

We liked the warm welcome from the host, as well as the location of the property, which is walking distance to the city center by a really lovely pedestrian street.

We were under the impression this property offered parking, however, parking options are just public parking spaces in from of the apartment building in which the accommodation is situated - we didn’t really feel safe leaving our car there, however, were lucky that there even was a free space, since the parking is pretty limited. The bathroom situation also kind of put us off - we booked the room with the private bathroom, however, the wall between our private bathroom and the bathroom for the other guests, isn’t built all the way to the ceiling. Meaning, we could hear everything the other guests did while using the bathroom, even after closing the door of our private bathroom and it was just really off putting. Definitely stop in Salerno, it’s a great little town, but maybe explore some other options of accommodation to get better value for money.

We had a lovely night here, the bed was comfortable and the location was great as it was only a 15min walk from the train station. The owner was really helpful and friendly and easily contactable! Would stay here again!
