Lovely stay, nothing was too much for the host, breakfast was lovely, very knowledgable of the local area and recommended some excellent places to eat, looking forward to our next stay!

"Exceptional"

Great property and quiet location. Good base to visit local places. Railway station, pubs and river walks. Lovely village. Next to a church. Owner, Bob gave us very helpful travel train and ferry times to get on the local train, steam train and ferry to Dartmouth. Great day out. Friendly owners and tasty breakfast. Off road parking.

Wat een prachtig mooi huis! Fijne kamer met een comfortabel bed. De eigenaren zijn heel aardig en maken een lekker ontbijt. Om de hoek zit een goed restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten.

"Beautiful surroundings"

Bod the owner is lovely, he's very attentive. The location is excellent to Powderham castle, 10 min walk. The outlook on the garden was beautiful. The information about places to eat and drink. The breakfast was a nice start to the day.

The bedding had some old stains on. The room hadn't been cleaned, found clothes in the wardrobe, the cafetiere had old coffee in the bottom, couple of dirty towels, the last persons shower gel and shampoo/conditioner in the shower. tea tray basic. Mis mash of bedroom furniture. Very small shower cubical in a cupboard.
