Fantastic little set up. Very homely feel. Would definitely book again

The front door is situated in beer garden which at peak times is a little hard to access and kind of removes the privacy of your stay but other a fantastic little place.

We loved the comfortable and spacious accommodation. There was everything you need ed for a goodnights sleep. Bed was huge and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent with a huge varied restaurant to suit all tastes. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We hadn’t expected breakfast to be a do it yourself continental breakfast. There were juices, yoghurts, plenty of fresh fruit, toast and marmalade, tea and coffee but we expected a cooked breakfast as it was pub accommodation. We didn’t see this specified anywhere. The light in the bathroom could be better, but that’s a small issue.

Location. Own kitchen area in self contained barn conversion. Food served on premises. Friendly and welcoming staff. Dog friendly and treats and water offered to dog when we were waiting for food. All on one level. Good facilities. 11am vacating time. Excellent food in pub. Easy check in and check out.

Bed hard as nails! Like sleeping on a mortuary slab! But that is personal choice. I like sleeping in a bed rather than on it. The breakfast provisions were a bit haphazard. One guest gluten free and so all bread supplied was gluten free? Some of the fruit was over ripe. Cereals were gluten. The room was off the courtyard which had pub customers dining etc and so quite noisy until gone 10pm. But if you watched tv and turned volume up ok. Seemed to be a slight mix up with the meal bill. We initially paid for drinks as we bought them. Then when we ordered food a tab was opened and some of the previous paid drinks seem to appear on the tab too. It was only one glass of wine and one beer but seemed a bit disorganised.

Location excellent for the places we wanted to visit.

A minor thing but didn't find the sofa very comfortable

Fantastic Room, Clean, Light and comfortable.

The Bed was very firm. I mean, VERY Firm... but that's the only complaint.

This was a magical spot! So perfect in every way. Only regret is that our stay was too short. Pub was wonderful! We will plan to return on our next trip to Engkand

Nice spacious room and living area, very comfortable bed. Good location for visiting the many local sights and beautiful parks. Breakfast is provided in the kitchen area of the room, cereals & toast.

Didn’t realise how close to the pub it is with people sitting right outside the door to the room, so it was very noisy, particularly when sunny and everyone is outside.

The breakfast was sufficient for the duration of our stay, with fruit, bread, etc available and we only had to ask for extra juice at the bar and it was made available. The staff and management were very effective and helpful when we had a slight medical emergency. Their care, concern and suport was much appreciated, our thanks to them all.
