"Relaxing mid-week break in a comfortable and relaxing venue, with a genuine welcome from staff."

Characterful building with a lovely bar, a decent restaurant with a good menu. The landlord was very welcoming, and always found time in his busy day to stop and ask how we were, and give tips on the local area and sights to see
 very approachable staff always willing to help. We felt more like friends than guests! Would definitely look to stay again next time we’re in the area.

Nothing to highlight, all was good!

"Hospitable and comfortable borders pub"

The Mason's Arms was a great choice for an overnight stay on our bike tour of the borders. The rooms were clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The bar had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and customers and we enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. There was also a safe place to leave our bikes.

everything 5 star food,staff locals in the bar all the best stay and was the ideal base foe our motorcycle trip

nothing at all loads to do bus service to berwick on tweed well worth a trip
