The masons arms is in a village, a short walk from the river Tweed. A good old fashioned bar, surprisingly large restaurant. The rooms are small and basic, although all you need is there. The food is freshly cooked.

Parking is on the road, it is a quiet road and there is room. The bed was not the most comfortable, but I have had worse in more expensive hotels.
