Best B&B in Orchha

The location was right in middle of everything but still quiet on an evening. Beds were super comfy. Staff were exceptional. Great value for money.

An excellent value for money stay in Orchha. We took the upgrade offered by Owner. We had a room on the top floor which was lovely. Very comfy bed. Breakfast and meal options were very good. We arranged laundry which had a v quick turnaround. Owner also arranged our taxi to Khajuraho - which was exceptionally priced , we had the best local taxi driver. Great location too. I have booked the Deluxe AC Room but the owner offered the best room on second floor at very regional price and we took it. It was a extremely nice room. The mattress was the best mattress we get in India. White Sheet under the blanket was a rare thing in India. I will say the view was extremely good. The best stay in India so far.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The owner, his wife and the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. The bed was decent enough and any request was taken care of right away. They even organized a wonderful massage for us as well as laundry for our clothes. Excellent hot water for showering. The wifi was pretty good. The food cooked was like home food and very nice. Very honest, simple and decent people and it was a joy to meet them. They had accommodation and parking available for the driver and car. I had forgotten my gold chain and they found it and gave it to me. Very lovely people.

The property is run down and dated. I'm pretty sure there is black mold there as I could smell it. It was not what I had expected, however the 2 nights we stayed we were out most of the time. The bathroom was a challenge as the water from the sink is not plumbed in and if the drain is blocked it comes out on to the foot. The property itself is in a rather small narrow lane. No proper place to hang clothes, no clothes hangers. The furniture is in need of repair and old and moldy.

Big room and quiet location without basically any traffic during night time. Really friendly staff and you can keep your bag here if you have a night bus or train to catch. Good value.

Rooftop could provide one of the best 360 views in the whole town if it was in use. Same goes for the upper floor. Cleanliness level is so so.
