Best B&B in Orchha

Extremely pleasant experience. Aniket was always there to help me in whatever I may need, he did an amazing itinerary and also the food there was really good and well priced.

I liked most of it. Wasn't far away from everything and they gave a good plan you could do of your stay in orchha

They where expanding the hostel with new rooms. So during the day you could hear the workers build, but if you are occupied with visiting orchha and its beauty you won't notice it. They stop working at 6pm

The owner was incredible, the accommodation was okay and then the place was right near all of the main attractions. Definitely reccomended.

Everything at Hotel Sunset Orchha is just absolutely beautiful. Right from the adopted cat you’ll meet at the reception to the views from the rooftop. But the thing that really stands out at this hostel is the people managing the property. Aniket, Mahipal, Mayank and Rinku really make you feel like home. The hotel is located at close proximity to most of the tourist destinations in Orchha. So you can explore in the day and chill with everyone at the rooftop later in the night. I went to Orchha for 3 days but stayed there for 9 days just because I wasn’t willing to leave the the hostel. So if you are in Orchha, do not look anywhere else. This is the place folks. You won’t regret it trust me :)

Our recent stay at Hotel Sunset in Orchha was excellent. The room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was great. All the staff were very friendly and our special thanks to Aniket the hotel manager and also Mahipal and Rinku who all took great care of us like we were family. Aniket was particularly helpful with recommending tourist sites as well as arranging transportation for us. His itinerary was really been super helpful for us.

The welcoming staff and the support and the guidance for the Orchha tour itinerary made by the very kind Aniket. Bed sheet were clean Sink and WC were decent.

The room was very dirty (by european standard). If Aniket wants to intercept more westerns and with higher spending capabilities, he needs to (first learn probably, and then) teach his staff what does "clean" mean for a western tourist. It is only matter of willingness... it takes 10 minutes more per stay per room and the right tools (i.e. sponge, detergent, brush) to clean, every now and then, the walls of the bathroom, the handles, the hinges of the doors, the doors themselves, the AC and its grills (so dirty), the floor, the floor under the bed, the bed itself, the light switches (filthy), the tv set, the remote!!!, the TV tuner (so dusty) etc... Ah.... also the doormats need to me cleaned every now and then!!!!

aniket from the staff is really nice and helpful. he explain you everything you can see in orchha. the best spot fir sunset. he helps you for everything you need. nice view from rooftop and big and confirtable room.

all good but the rooftop was under renovation at this time so it will be perfect for the futur guest.

We stumbled upon this page by chance but stayed there for the whole trip by choice. The warm welcome the friendly environment made us stay longer than we had planned. The manager Aniket was sweet warm and kind and so helpful. We felt so comfortable instantly. The rooms were small but clean and very comfortable and worth the price paid. The itinerary was one of the best thing and the only time I got something like this ever. The view was breathtaking to wake up to and to stay late at night looking at. The terrace became our place to just sit and capture the beauty of Orchha. Listening to the sound of aarti was humbling experience. This place made Orchha feel like home.

I am grateful that I found this property at a very decent cost considering its location and the view it provides. The location of the property is in the center of the city and all attractions are close. Moreover its just beside Ramraja Temple and the view is absolutely stunning be it any time of the day. Regarding the hospitality, the owner, property manager and care takers were very helpful, warm and welcoming even before my reached to my destination. The owner was grateful to reach out and guide me to reach the hostel and even the property manager was helpful in the same manner. During my stay the property manager was very friendly and helpful. He helped me regarding the places I could visit and also for food! I didn't feel that I was meeting them for the first time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyway who wish to visit Orchha and wants to have a hostel experience during their stay.

The place is right at the heart of Orchha which is why you can explore so many essences of Orchha while you are staying here. Most importantly the most humble host and his co-workers helped us right from when we booked our stay miles away and that made our journey as well as our stay very pleasent and hassle free. The Aniket's Itinerary was perfect for visiting orchha he is an excellent person and knows alot about orchha. Perfect place
