Sabine Barn

Soggiorno davvero piacevole! La struttura è bella, confortevole e immersa nella tranquillità. La camera e il bagno sono spaziosi, puliti e curati nei dettagli, con doccia e una vasca comoda e tanta acqua calda. La colazione è ottima e i padroni di casa sono estremamente gentili, disponibili e accoglienti. Mi sono sentito subito a casa. Perfetto per chi cerca pace e relax. Consigliatissimo!

La luce del bagno, molto brillante e attivata da un sensore, si accende automaticamente ogni volta che qualcuno entra; di giorno è comoda, ma di notte è un pò fastidiosa.

It is a very clean and lovely room. The hosts are very welcoming. The bath is lovely and there is plenty of hot water. It is very quiet.

The light in the bathroom comes on everytime someone enters. It is a very bright light. That means whenever the bathroom is used during the night both persons wake up, and as the light is so bright it tajes a while to fall asleep again. Otherwise, I would have given this place a 🔟.

Not much as I did not stay for long

I booked a room and was told via phone on the way there that there would be nobody in attendance when I arrived so the room key would be left in a unlocked box I found the key and entered what I thought was the correct room only to find out when I attempted to lock it that it was the wrong room. That room had actually been left unlocked allowing access to anyone . I called the proprietor when I found that I could not lock the room and was advised that that was a more expensive room and I would be charged the extra. Still no staff in attendance. I refused and was met with a very unpleasant response , blaming me for entering the wrong room. Clearly not my fault I left the site at that point as I did not wish to stay in such a bad atmosphere and unprofessional environment. Furthermore, I would not stay in in an unmanned site and one that had left a room unlocked. If I had known that the site was unmanned, I would not have booked it. Booking.com requested a refund but none was forthcoming I have spent decades staying in hotels on business but never encountered anything like this before. An awful experience.

Spotless beautiful lodge set in a peaceful location. Donna was so helpful and kind, the perfect host. Totally recommend this as a 10/10 stay. Breakfast was lovely and fresh too in a lovely setting.

Everything was perfect

The barn was beautifully equipped and decorated and very spacious and comfortable. It was scrupulously clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful

The only (tiny thing) - the bathroom light was on a sensor so you couldn’t enter without the light going in. This was fine during the day but during the night it would be been useful to be able to go to the loo without the light (and fan) going on.

Beautiful area and building the chalet was well done and great decoration. There was a little village Eynsham not to far which was lovely.

There was nothing to dislike

The room is very large, good quality furniture, a great big bathroom, hospitable owner Dona, delicious breakfast and the neighbors' cute black cat.😊

If you like it quiet and peaceful this is the place for you. The owners can’t do enough for you makes you feel welcome.
