Ventnor Bay House

Fabulous house and property immediately by the sea with outstanding seaview from the room and garden. The host Richard was exceptionally friendly and helpful and cooked the best breakfast ever! Ask him to cook you his special porridge. Room very well equipped with fresh fruit, cake, coffee and even a carafe of sherry!! The bed was extremely comfortable.

There was really nothing that was missing.

Richard is a caring host. We were surprised by his sherry and cake plus fruit freeby. Got bit confused over his BandB status but our breakfast was more than adequate. Location is very good as easy stroll to sea or shops or favourite watering hole the Volunteer.

Our room was spacious and bed comfy. Bathroom seemed out of proportion to size of room being on titchy size but we managed!

A little bit surprised at the ferry costs (my fault I should have checked b4 booking) Overall very nice pleasant weekend my wife commented the bed was the most comfiest she slept in. The Host Richard very informative about places to go and see Breakfast on the second day not as good as the first not. If Travelling to the Island again would gladly book again.

Fabulous location, beautiful views from the sea-front room, very comfortable room with plenty of space, generous and flavoursome breakfast and a genial host. All in all, a gem.

We had a deluxe double room with a large double bed. The room was very big and bright, beautifully clean and had everything we needed and more. Our host Richard was very friendly and did everything possible to make us feel welcome and even went out to get me soya milk as well as a providing fruit and cake in addition to the array of tea and coffees in the room. We had a generous breakfast spread including full breakfast that Richard cooked. The location was great, overlooking the sea and within a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Ventnor as well as to the sea. Parking was provided and we would definitely stay again if we visit the IoW.
