Flyer Exotica

Flyer Exotica is very well located on the edge of the pedestrian zone with no through traffic but still easily accessible to transportation. The road on which Flyer Exotica is positioned takes you directly to the ridge without having to climb steep stairs - unlike many similar accommodation options in the area. A 5 - 10-minute walk gets you to the centre of action on the ridge / Christ Church. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed while the owner, Sumit could not have been more helpful and accommodating, ensuring that we were comfortable, had everything that we needed and gave us a full rundown of what there is to see in Shimla and also helped with transportation in and around the city. Breakfasts were not included in our room rate but great value being varied, tasty and very generous in size. There are a couple of good local eating options within close proximity and Sumits’ suggestions in the heart of Shimla were excellent. All in all an excellent homestay that’s very well located with a super helpful owner.

The host was a lovely person and woke up early to serve us a delicious breakfast on our way out. Rooms are of different sizes along with a common kitchen. We also enjoyed his recommendations across the town.

Some of the things in the rooms are old and seem to be falling apart. Both bathrooms initially gave no/muddy hot water in the shower, and the pipes seemed a bit rusty.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The accommodation is located in a quieter part of town, so it was peaceful and relaxing, yet still within a reasonable distance from the city center, making it easy to get around. The host was definitely the highlight – very helpful and always ready to assist. They helped me plan activities both in the city and the surrounding areas, gave great recommendations for restaurants and cafés, and even helped arrange transport and bus tickets for day trips. Thanks to that, my whole stay went very smoothly. The only thing I missed a bit was a nice common area or a breakfast space. The house definitely has the potential for it – there’s space with a view that could be turned into something really special. I see it as an opportunity for improvement in the future.

Great clean and comfortable rooms near Shimla's center. The owner Summit is incredibly hospitable and helps you with everything you need. Our stance there was perfect and I recommend everyone to stay there.

Nothing, everything was perfect!!

To start with, property owner Mr. Sunil, he is very humble and polite. I was travelling solo so he guided me with all the direction and helped me with the bookings as well. Property is super clean and comfy and yes everything is available at the property. Property is near to most of the sightseeing places of shimla. And yes complimentary breakfast was cherry on the cake. Thanks Mr. Sunil for having me and providing such a comfortable stay.

A short trip in Shimla, had booked here. Turned out to be best decision. Since it was a first visit had no clue about most the things. The owner here is very polite, humble and friendly. He guided us and helped in each way he could have to make our trip a worthy one. I would recommend people whosoever is traveling whether family,or friends it's a very good option to stay here if you are visiting here. The room had all the equipment like room heater, geyser in working condition, neat and clean room. The common kitchen had a electric kettle with sachets of coffee, milk and all. Since it was a short trip, we had breakfast with tea and that too was tasty. 😁 Overall: If you are traveling to Shimla this would be a great option. Walkable from mall road. Adding to that the owner is always a call away. 😊 Thanks to Sumit Sir for making the trip a worthy one.
