Prie Miesto Vartų

A truly dream location, right next to the Old Town. Very good value for money. Free parking space, but bigger car may have problem to enter - then find green parking zone (literally 200m from the apartment) and you can park there very cheap. Possible to have breakfast (every day it is put in the fridge), shops are close so you can prepare it by yourself.

Apartment seems to be a little bit dark. The windows face the street, so light sleepers may have problems, but there were earplugs in the apartment.

Excellent location, few steps to the Old Town. The owner is great - he gave us all the information about town.

If you're looking for something from an IKEA catalogue, or a 5-star hotel then this isn't for you. But if you're looking for a cosy and unique place, with free off street parking and within a couple of mins walk from the centre of the old town then this is THE place! Bear in mind that the building is old, but that's all part of the charm. My kids loved having their own space on the basement floor (elderly people may find the steep stairs to the basement hard to manage but the street level floor has space for 2 to sleep). The sweets were a nice touch on arrival, the kitchen was well-enough equipped for our needs, including freshly ground coffee and there was also a modern washing machine. It was a perfect place for our stay, and made a much better impression on us than the photos on booking. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and it would be top of my list when visiting vilnius again with my family.

The breakfast was basic and unimpressive. The basement was a bit damp and, therefore, smelled unpleasant.
