Le Dimore del Gufo B&B and Apartments Suite

The apartment was very nice and clean. Close to the center and main attractions

Initially a bit confusing as it’s on the 3rd floor of a condominium building and part of a co-op type organisation. Don’t let that put you off - it was brilliant. Light, large, super-clean and done to a top standard (even two sinks in the bathroom). There’s a fridge and coffee making facilities. Excellent value for money. We were cycle touring and staff were helpful about our bikes. Communication was excellent.

Large apartment with free parking on the street. Very comfortable. Large kitchen and living room.

Weird to have an open window between bathroom and kitchen. Also, the host requests to pay outside the booking system with a bank transfer. Plus they require extra tourist tax which they do not display at the booking final price as others do. Awkward check in process. But altogether very good. We ended up paying with a card.

The B&B consists of 2 nice appartments with each a bedroom, bathroom, living room. One had a full kitchen also. You have a lot of space. Modern, local decoration of which is taught of. Quiet neighbourhood at about 500m of the centre of Venosa. Lot of parking space in the streets around for the car.

The breakfast isn’t really a breakfast. In the appartement you find a closet with some cookies, prefab croissants, crackers, water, fruit juice,… , but not what you really call breakfast. Maybe people stay normally longer and go themselves to a supermarket?

Overall appatment facilities, cleanliness, reponsive hosts.

Minor, the waste basket in the bathroom didn't open. Simple breakfast, but for the price it's OK. The coffee machine was leaking

Everything was suprising good. Unfortunately address was same in other building where we wait.
