Aldebaran B&B

We had a fantastic stay at the Aldebaran. We would definitely recommend it, and we will hopefully be returning in the near future. The property itself is beautiful and is situated in a quaint, quiet area just outside of Whitby centre. The room was spotless and spacious and had a stunning view over the garden. The large bed was very comfortable. The breakfast contained more than enough options, with different fresh fruits and cereals each morning. The fridge was stocked with juice, milk, cold meats, and cheese. It was lovely to be able to admire the view in comfort whilst having breakfast. We were super grateful to our hosts, Colleen and Craig, who very kindly gave us a lift into Whitby when we missed the bus. They were fantastic hosts who made us feel welcomed and comfortable and definitely contributed to our positive experience.

How Can You Better Than Excellent. Rooms (rather like an apartment) were spotless and comfortable, bed cosy, room well furnished. Breakfast was brought on a tray and full of good food. Short walk to the railway station for Whitby

Impossible to find anything we did not like except the very steep approach.

Everything was perfect

The B&B was really lovely, the room was spotlessly clean and the separate bathroom was huge with deep freestanding bath, walk in shower which was for the use of room 2 only . The views from our room was amazing over looking the beautiful garden and the train track of the steam train . The location was well out of Whitby but we knew that when we booked . The breakfast was dropped off outside your door at 8am in a basket, very different to anything we have had before but plenty of choice and lots of thoughts went into it ,must say we enjoyed not having to be timed to a breakfast . We would stay there again without a doubt.

Long weekend away in Whitby for my wife's birthday. Choose Aldebaran B&B for the location, price and views to which it didn't disappoint. Coleen was a fabulous host!!! The passion is clear to see, the small details throughout were a gem, super clean and tidy, also very welcoming - really felt like home. Will be back again for sure, thank you both. David & Becky

The host was amazing, we had EVERYTHING we needed, comfy bed great bathroom, and breakfast came in a basket each morning and could have fed 4!! All the options under the sun. Incredible. We were there for a wedding and we even borrowed some scissors to help put the ribbon on my car!

Excellent continental breakfast that was left outside room door. Lovely view from the bedroom overlooking the beautiful garden and Esk Valley. Comfortable king-size bed. Lights and power sockets by the bed. Fridge in room stocked with bottled water and a few other items. Easy short drive into Whitby. Parking outside property.

Although the bathroom is private and next door to the bedroom it isn't en-suite.

What a beautiful idyllic location. Nice and quiet but only a few minutes drive from town. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Great hosts
